I really was not going to post this evening, but I came across the following in Andrew Sullivan:

Funny how after observing gay politics closely for almost two decades, the bi "community" has always felt itself to be a bit player, ignored and condescended to by gays and lesbians and the transgendered.

I just would like to know when, at any point in the last two decades, the trans community has condescended to the bi community to an extent that Sullivan noticed. I'm sure it has happened, partly because some of the trans community are so obsessed with their het identification, but that is a tendency many of us have always resisted on the simple grounds of good sense and solidarity.

This is, though, about the first time I have ever come across Sullivan even acknowledging that the trans community exists, let alone that it might have something in common with the lesbian and gay communities.

Just saying.
