Time Event
10:01p
I am late to this particular party
I just need to say that my growing love for Grey's Anatomy has been considerably enhanced by watching the big two-parter 'Code Black' from Season Two, which is a very impressive couple of hours of television. Indeed, it is one of those two hour chunks which go on my personal list of 'great episodes of good shows that I will show to other people to make them accept why I love this show, dammit'. Along with 'Doppelgangland' and 'Rose and Raven Rosenberg' and the final episode of SFU.

Part of what is impressive about it is that it is a double episode in which everything pays off. George's lesbionic fantasy of showering with his female housemates gets echoed by the scene towards the end when he sees Izzie and Christina washing the dead bombsquad man out of Meredith's hair and knows he shouldn't be there, and retreats. Christina Ricci is fabulous as the paramedic who eventually cracks and runs away, and there is the weasel anaesthetist and his talk of Pink Mist. (Don't ask.)

Just extraordinary. And no, I don't entirely know why I am watching Season Two on terrestrial and Season Three on downloads and just living with two different phases of these people's lives. I am developing a pronounced taste for a show I was always meh! about and which I started to watch just so I could read my friends' femslash for it. Go, as they say, figure.
