Not one of his better poems...


I will admit that Quintia is tall,
quite shapely and with pale translucent skin.
There's many think she's beautiful. I'm in
a smaller group who don't think that all.

True beauty is not ticked off on a list
of single attributes. She's such a klutz
and doesn't get my jokes, which means she's nuts.
I'm sure there's other glaring faults I've missed.

Her good points don't add up to beauty. Sad
but there it is. My standards are quite high.
One woman's always present in mind's eye
who steals from other women what they had

by way of looks. They really can't compare
to Lesbia, even when she isn't there.
